Here Come the Interns!

June 12, 2018

It's that time again! Summer has arrived and brought warmer weather, afternoon thunderstorms, and the return of talented, motivated, hard-working interns! This year's class of Summer Interns is made up of a group of students who offer a wide-range of experience from Georgia College & State University and The University of Tennessee-Knoxville. We are excited to have them!

Max Underwood

Max is currently enrolled in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards an Economics Degree. A native of Memphis, Max joins the 2018 Class of Nysa Capital Summer Interns focusing on the Foreign Direct Investment and EB-5 Practice. While Max has not made a final decision about his post-graduate life, his top choices are to attend Law School focusing on International Tax Law, or further his career in the Financial Industry.

Max is passionate about improving childhood literacy here in the U.S., but also abroad in developing countries. Aside from his internship, he is most excited to be in Atlanta so that he can attend Atlanta United FC matches at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Dawson Burns

Dawson is currently a sophomore at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia working towards an Economics Degree. He plans on transferring to Georgia Tech where he will continue studying economics. Atlanta born, Dawson joins the 2018 Class of Nysa Capital Summer Interns focusing on Corporate Finance and Real Estate Advisory Practice. He will be studying abroad in Italy this coming spring and will look to pursue his entrepreneurial interests after graduating college.

Dawson plays on the ultimate frisbee team at Georgia College and strives to serve his community as an Eagle Scout. Aside from work, he spends his free time water skiing, experimenting new food on Buford Hwy, and following Atlanta Braves Baseball.

Nick Cavallaro

Nick joins the 2018 Class of Nysa Capital Summer Interns as a Sophomore at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia.  Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Minor in Finance, Nick is excited to focus his time at Nysa Capital focusing on Real Estate Advisory Practice and Corporate Finance. Nick enjoys investing in the Stock Market and hopes to pursue a career where he can leverage this enjoyment, and ultimately start his own business.

Nick is passionate about playing his part to protect the environment and stopping the harmful effects of global warming. In his spare time Nick is an avid Atlanta Falcons fan and looks forward to attending games at Mercedes Benz Stadium in the fall.
